Our final grades for the semester just came out. I was very nervous as I opened the student portal. I have a subject that I suspect might fail.
After I opened it, I was overjoyed because I did not have any failing grades for the semester, despite the failing grades during the midterm.
It was a relief. I can now enroll without having the need to adjust my schedule.

3 - Dissidia 012 Review on Terra Branford
First of all, Terra is my favorite character. Her long range cheap shots, as I would call them, are my type of game..
Moving on to the review. I would say, "What have you done to her?"
My favorite move, Blizarra, just lost its hit rate because of its extremely reduced range and angle. It's the best cheap shot, and it would push a foe away from you.
Despite that, I got a new cheap shot which is Fire ----> Firaga thanks to the faster tracking of Fire.
I'm also loving her new costume named "Narshean Princess". Too bad her "Striped Dress" costume is DLC, and expensive!
I would just have to accept the changes made and change my battling style.

2 - Dissidia 012 Review (Sort of)
I bought a UMD of Dissidia 012 as a gift for myself last Christmas. There are a lot of changes compared to the original game.
These are the things that I hate about the changes made:
These are the things that I hate about the changes made:
- Chase sequence - These sequences are faster than ever, and the chase brv attack is very unpredictable.
- AI are smarter than ever - This includes harder chase sequences.
- Harder AP farming - The attack first AP chance doesn't appear anymore, and since AI are smarter, a single hit from the enemy before you land your HP attack will void the AP chance. Fighting without the AP on the calender will make you take forever to master those skills.
- Items are too expensive
- Bonus Line - Level grinding before completing the story will be pointless because of the level allowed in a gateway. Say hello to adjust level.
- Too much DLC - Come on, even costumes and BGM must be bought separately now?
- Awesome world map on story mode
- Awesome remake of the 13th cycle
- New characters who are fun to use
- Party battles - The characters that I don't use much will be leveled up as well! (Exdeath, Ultimecia and Shantotto)
- Reports which can be watched giving additional side stories about each character.

1 - New Year
Happy New Year to all!
It's day one of my "A Year of Blogs"
It's a fad for most people to make a New Year's Resolution. Me, I don't think I will be making mine for the year because I always fail to do them. An example is last year's reduce gaming time. It's hard to break the habit.

Black Out Call
I just changed my profile pic to black. This means something.
===================================================================
Today, October 2, the Supreme Court sitting en banc is set to hear several petitions for prohibition against the Cybercrime Prevention Law.
If the high court junks these petitions and disapproves the request for a temporary restraining order (TRO), the Cybercrime Prevention Law will take effect the following day, forever changing the Internet landscape in the Philippines -- possibly even killing Internet freedom.
As a sign of protest, please take down your profile pictures and cover photos and change it to a simple black image.
We also call on website administrators in the Philippines to take down/blacken their websites starting 12 midnight in protest of the looming implementation of the draconian law. There are several plugins available in the net to do so (GIYF).
With enough websites participating, we can be a formidable force that can compel the government to think twice.
============================== ====
Our dear Filipino netizens, the government is taking the Internet away from us. It is but just to reclaim it in all ways possible.

Anti-Cybercrime Prevention Law (Philippines)
This is crazy!
Article
III Section 4 of the 1987 Constitution states that "No law shall be
passed abridging the freedom of speech, of expression, or of the press,
or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and petition the
government for redress of grievances.
This is violating Article
III Section 4. Where is our freedom of speech/expression now, when they
can arrest now arrest us for doing such? As far as I know, the
equipment is meant to be used to track down hackers of government
websites and such, and where is it used? To track down people expressing
their opinions. What is happening to our country?
Please support us, especially Filipinos. This might lead to another Martial Law. I haven't experiences the first, but many say it is horrible.

New School, New Beginning
It's been a week since I first entered my new school. I am still adjusting to my new schedule and the different facilities. Classes start earlier and have a longer time. The break time is very long. No one is to keep me company because I did not start as a block section but as a transferee. They have uniform.
Despite these, I will do better than my performance last term. My goal now is to excel and to top the board exam. I want to show that the school is not the only basis for job hunters but the students themselves are the basis.
I miss my blockmates, my teammates and my friends in my previous school. I plan to visit them whenever I have the time. A Thursday is the perfect day since we don't have classes on Friday.
