2-8 - Reporting

In our class, environmental science, we are required to report on a topic.

Now the flaws of most students who report is, they only read their powerpoint presentations. This is a big no-no. Only reading the presentation shows unpreparedness. Since I'm experienced at this, I already know how to avoid this.

I avoid putting long paragraphs in a slide because it shows that the student did not summarize anything, unless the whole paragraph is an important quotation. I prefer just using bullets as a summary.

Explaining what is in the slide is very important. Just reading it is very negative.

I reported today and I think I did well. I hope I got a high grade.
